Prevention of early pregnancies in Medellín
According to the birth studies of the Medellín Ministry of Health regarding the birth rate of non-regularized migrant adolescents (women between 10 and 19 years old), between 2019 and 2020 births tripled, with an increase of 201 in 2019 , to 720 in 2020.
Taking this reality into account, in 2021 we joined the municipality of Medellín to deliver early pregnancy prevention devices to 1,500 young Venezuelan women.
